Saulius D. Polteraitis is an experienced attorney who has defended medical malpractice actions involving physicians, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities for various healthcare providers.

He has litigated cases across the state of Michigan.  In addition to medical malpractice, Saulius has defended product liability, premises liability, no-fault, and general liability claims.

In 2024, Saulius was recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer in medical malpractice defense.  He was elected as President of the Catholic Lawyers Society and is currently serving as President of the Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Managers.

He earned his law degree from The University of Connecticut School of Law and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.  While at the University of Connecticut, he served as Editor of the Insurance Law Journal and worked as an intern for the Attorney General of Connecticut Antitrust Division
