Associate Principal
A native of Durham, North Carolina, Ms. Carley moved to Michigan in 2003 after graduating from the University of North Carolina.
While in law school, Ms. Carley was an appointed member of the Honor Council and served as a student attorney in the felony trial division of the Washtenaw County Public Defender’s Office in Ann Arbor. She thereafter clerked for two years for the Honorable Lisa L. Asadoorian of the 52nd District Court, 3rd Division in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Ms. Trott is an active member of the Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management (MSHRM) and serves on the Education Committee.

Practice Areas
Ms. Trott has been in private practice since 2008. Her practice is devoted to civil defense litigation, and she specializes in medical malpractice, including birth trauma litigation, premises liability, general negligence, and professional negligence.
