Mr. David Nauts is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in North America. There are currently only three medical malpractice defense lawyers in the entire State of Michigan who have been granted entry into this prestigious institution.
He is AV or Preeminent rated by the Martindale Hubbell Peer review ratings. He has been designated a “Super Lawyer” in the area of medical malpractice defense every year since 2009. He is a frequent lecturer on medical-legal aspects of birth trauma and has lectured to the World Birth Congress by invitation from the Chief Perinatology Research Branch Program Director, for Obstetrics and Gynecology for the National Institute of Health.
He is an approved trial counsel for Tenet Health, McLaren Health, Beaumont Healthcare System, Trinity Health, The University of Michigan Medical Center, and others.
David Nauts has been elected to the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. First and foremost, ABOTA works to uphold the jury system by educating the American public about the history and value of the right to trial by jury. Membership is by invitation only.
