Associate Attorney
Adam is an associate attorney at Nauts. McKinney, Dwaihy & Beach, PLLC, focusing on dispositive motions and appeals.
Adam began his career working in the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.. Adam spent nearly a decade working on Capitol Hill. During that time, he spent years working primarily in health care policy and served as Legislative Director for two Congressmen. In addition to working in health care policy, Adam developed a bill that became law to protect the Great Lakes from invasive species. That experience gives Adam a unique insight into the legislative process and matters of statutory interpretation.
After starting a family, Adam moved home to the Detroit area and began attending the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. During law school, Adam began his career in appeals by serving as an intern for Michigan Supreme Court Justice Brian K. Zahra. Adam went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude. After that, Adam worked as a contract attorney with the Research Division of the Michigan Court of Appeals. At the Court of Appeals, Adam focused primarily on appeals from dispositive motions in civil cases. He joined NMD&B in 2025.
